Interest Groups

The Needle-Crafters group meets on the second Monday of the month for fellowship and to pursue our passion of needlecraft. Cross-stitch, smocking, knitting and crocheting are all part of our work. Some of our work is directed toward charitable endeavors such as Angel Tree ornaments and We Care packets. Beginning needle workers are welcome. Experienced people will help you get started or answer questions.

The Bridge Marathon group meets during the year in member homes for social games of Bridge. The round robin format provides Bridge players an opportunity for personal fellowship in a casual atmosphere. At the end of the year winners are announced at an all-member tournament held at St. James.

The mission statement of Quilters for Others is "To make as many quilts as we possibly can to comfort those in need of comforting and have fun doing it". Started in 1987, the group has made thousands of quilts to warm the hearts and bodies of people in the community. The group's global mission is worldwide extending to Europe, South America and the Orient. The group meets weekly at St. James and other locations in the West San Fernando Valley.
